We met to complete the assembly of the doggy door. At this point, we have all the components minus the LCD touchscreen panel.

The plastic enclosure was mounted on top of the doggy door enclosure, and the door frame was installed to the wooden structure.

We plan to glue the two cameras and the sensor, and adjust the cables as soon as we install the LCD.

We noticed the haar cascade file used for the dog detection is not accurate in detecting the difference between dogs and cats, and we are actively working on creating our own, using Ryan's dog as a reference.

For testing purposes, we replaced the haar cascade file with one that accurately detects human faces. In the following video we tested each function of the doggy door, including its ability to always allow the dog to enter the building.
